You're body is your best ally. Even when it feels weak, even in pain, your body hold a profound wisdom that can only be harnessed by being present in it's experience.  

 

The body is also an instrument. One that no one else has. Unique. beautiful, with a powerful healing capacity. This instrument is unique in the way we find it’s flow, coordination, power and freedom. It relies on feel. It relies on trust. We ask your body to work in harmony to create an experience of profound expression as the player, and deep connection as a listener.

In this flow state, in which the body, mind and soul are feeling at ease, powerful, present, and truthful can’t be discovered by a one size fits all approach.  The journey and discovery is as unique as the body itself.  There are physical ways that prohibit us from moving forward in this process. They are closely linked to our body's survival response. The body holds to fear, trauma, anxiety, doubt, sadness. These blocks prevent muscles from engaging or relaxing, fire off a survival signal in the brain, and cut off creative channel that allow intuition and creativity to flow.

By training the entire body to both recognize, honor and feel, we can start to expand our creative capacity as humans. We can start to sing in any situation, with our expressive and unique gift.

If healing through somatic work in your goal excellent. If you are a professional or amateur singer who is interested in technically training to be the best singer you can be, excellent.
